Messages and external websites
The email links open your email application. Information you choose to send is used to respond to your inquiry. The CV, publications, research profiles, and consulting site may take you to other websites with their own privacy practices.
The AI summary buttons open an external provider with a prepared prompt containing public website links. They do not include a private message or inquiry. Your use of an assistant is subject to that provider’s policies.
Optional analytics
With your permission, Google Analytics 4 measures visits and a few interactions, and Microsoft Clarity helps me understand how people use the public pages through interaction measurements, heatmaps, and session recordings. Google Tag Manager manages the Google measurement tags.
Optional analytics stay off until you choose Allow analytics. You can decline and still read the site, or change your choice using Privacy settings in the footer. Your choice is stored in this website’s browser storage for up to 180 days. Withdrawing a previous permission reloads the page to stop the running analytics tools and removes their accessible cookies.
Clarity uses Relaxed masking: public text and images remain visible, while input values, dropdowns, forms, and any sections marked private are masked. The website does not intentionally send email contents, contact addresses, or other private correspondence as analytics events. Google receives clean page addresses without query strings or fragments, and only controlled interaction labels. Clarity is skipped when a page address or referrer contains an unrecognized query or fragment.
These tools may process device and browser details, interaction data, and network information. They are used to improve the website, not to build advertising audiences. Read more in Google’s privacy policy and Microsoft’s privacy statement.
Essential site functions
The site may remember your theme and privacy preferences in your browser. Hosting providers may process standard request information, such as an IP address, requested page, and timestamp, to serve the website and maintain security.
